Preparing a Server for Zivios

Install the Agent

Servers CANNOT be added to Zivios till an agent is installed on them. This requirement may be simplified in the future through automatic package installation, but currently it must be done manually. Please refer to Zivios Agent Installation section.

Install the relevant Service

Servers are not much help unless they are running a service. Zivios plugins expect services to be installed in a certain way. Furthermore, helper scripts may be required. These helper scripts are supplied together with the Zivios agent. You will need to read the individual service installation documentation to ascertain which helpers are needed and where are the expected to be installed.
